South Africa port authority moves ahead with LNG terminal development
South Africa’s Transnet National Ports Authority signed a 25-year agreement with Ukwanda LNG to build an LNG regasification terminal at the Port of Ngqura. Valued at approximately ZAR 22 billion, this development aims to enhance South Africa's energy security and establish Ngqura as a strategic energy hub.
