Chinese rescuers find ‘nothing but ruins’ at border crossing as Nepal seeks help to ID and store the dead
Chinese and Nepalese rescue teams are conducting difficult search and rescue operations at the heavily damaged Gyirong border crossing after severe flooding in the Himalayas. Rescuers only recently reached the border complex, finding it largely in ruins caused by torrents of water and debris.
