UN atomic watchdog says found tonnes of nuclear material at Syria site
The UN's nuclear watchdog, the IAEA, has discovered several tonnes of nuclear material at a Syrian site reported by Damascus. The material, linked to a secret nuclear reactor possibly built with North Korean help, will be placed under international safeguards amid ongoing inspections and cooperation between Syria and the IAEA.
