Greek-owned VLCC hit by drone in Iraqi waters
A Greek-owned Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) carrying about 2 million barrels of Iraqi fuel oil was struck by a drone in Iraqi territorial waters, causing a fire which was extinguished by Iraqi rescue vessels. All 22 crew members aboard were reported safe after the incident near Al-Faw.
