ExxonMobil has signed a preliminary agreement to supply LNG to South Africa's first LNG import terminal being developed at the Port of Richards Bay by Zululand Energy Terminal, a joint venture between Vopak Terminal Durban and Transnet Pipelines. The facility will enable import, storage, regasification, and distribution of LNG for power generation and other uses in South Africa.
