Obras no canal Mata Fome, prometidas para COP 30, são retomadas após nova licitação em Belém

The mayor of Belém, Igor Normando, has signed an order to resume construction on the Mata Fome drainage channel as part of the preparations for COP 30. The project had been stalled but will now move forward in phases, benefiting over 200,000 residents in the area with improvements and environmental recovery efforts.
