UAE Weighs Plans for Third Strait of Hormuz Bypass Pipeline
Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. is reportedly weighing plans for a third crude-export pipeline that would bypass the Strait of Hormuz, in addition to one operating line and a second under construction. The proposed route could increase UAE export capacity and reduce exposure to disruption at the strategic chokepoint, where Iran has significant leverage.
